Services: from choosing to starting up your heat pump

We help you choose a heat pump, install it, start it up and prepare the paperwork for Eko sklad. You have one contact person throughout.

  1. 1. Heat pump advice and choice

    During the free assessment we look at the size and insulation of the house, the radiators or floor heating, the boiler room, your hot water use and where the outdoor unit could go. Based on this we recommend the output and type of unit and tell you whether any changes are needed, such as replacing individual radiators. After the assessment you receive a written quote.

  2. 2. Air-to-water heat pump installation

    We place the outdoor unit on a base or wall where there is enough room for airflow and where it does not bother you or your neighbours. We connect the unit to the heating system and hot water tank and set up the electrical connection and controls. Finally we start it up, set it up and show you how to use it.

  3. 3. Replacing an old boiler with a heat pump

    We disconnect and remove the oil, gas or wood boiler and connect the heat pump to your existing radiators or underfloor heating. Before removal we remind you of the photos Eko sklad requires for the higher subsidy. Removal of the old boiler is included.

  4. 4. Help with the subsidy application

    You submit the application yourself after installation, through the eUprava portal. We prepare the itemised invoice with the heat pump's type, model and manufacturer, plus photos of the installed unit. If you need help submitting, you can turn to ENSVET energy advisers or to Eko sklad.

Monobloc or split

  • Monobloc: the whole refrigerant circuit is in the outdoor unit, and heating water pipes run into the house. The connection is simpler, but the pipes must be protected from frost.
  • Split: refrigerant pipes connect the outdoor and indoor units. Only a qualified installer may connect them.

Radiators or underfloor heating

A heat pump works with both. Underfloor heating needs a lower water temperature. With radiators we check that they are large enough and, if needed, recommend a high-temperature model or replacing individual radiators.

Eko sklad subsidy

For a heat pump you can get a subsidy under Eko sklad's conditions (public call 126SUB-OB26). The conditions are more favourable when you replace an old boiler than for a first installation. You apply after installation through eUprava. Eko sklad decides on approval and on the amount. Conditions can change, so check the current ones on the Eko sklad website.
